Its a tourist attraction. Its in a neighborhood with trendy restaurants and bars.
The only way the Cubs will get serious about winning is if people stop going to the games. Why should they care to field a good team if the morons keep going to games.
There is a very big difference between being a loyal fan and a dumbass.
The Cubs crowd consits of 1/3 Cub fans, 1/3 tourists, and 1/3 drunken junior yuppies from out of town who now think they are living the big city experience, though they live in phoney yuppie north side neighborhoods.

because going to wrigley field is fun, even though the cubs don't win its just fun to be out with other people the cubs rock

Because unlike other teams' fans, we stick with our team. We love and respect them no matter how bad of a year they have. We Cubs fans are true baseball fans!!!
