Has anyone seen it and is it as good as good all the hype on TV and the web? And can anyone tell me where to get it cheap (besides e-bay)? I'm on a budget ya know! lol anywho let me know thanx ;)

Yes! We got the Japanese special edition (which had English sub-titles) and watched it a couple times. If you enjoyed the anime, you will like the movie. It ties up a lot of loose ends and helps answer questions that you may still have after the anime ended.
As for getting the DVD cheap, if you a looking for a new copy, it looks like ebay might be the cheapest. I found it at deepdiscountdvd.com and overstock.com for $18.15, but then you have to pay shipping. Amazon.com and target.com have it for under $16. Walmart actually has it in the store for $20, but then you also get the first volume of the anime with it, which is an amazing deal (if you don't already have the anime, of course!)

Ya I own the DVD, but I don't have cable so I never watch the original serial.
Ya I think It's OK, One the rating to other anime I gave it a 5 out of 10, with 10 being the best.

I saw the movie while it was being hosted online, and there are various bit torrents of it. The movie provides a sort of closure to the story. Theres some really awesome animation scenes, and we do get to see Edward's mature side as well as how Alphonse is doing in the world.

i had the hong kong version , and it was good then i drove three hours just to see it in a movie theater and it was even better, and the only cheap place you can probably find it is at walmart for $20. so yes it is as good as it says, only if you liked the t.v. show

Ya i saw it. I just bought it a couple a days ago and for my opinion its great on most part but the ending is very disappionting is you really like all of the old cast and all. but overall its great except the end

I have yet to watch it. I do know that when I buy the DVD it will most likely be on eBay. That is most likely your best bet for the proffesionaly dubbed, LEGAL, version.

even though it's illegal, but my sister went to Youtube and watched it in 6 parts, I think. But the 'condition' was probably really bad, so you probably want to get it off of ebay or something.
