The Upgrades I plan on getting are a XFX Geforce 7600GS 512MB 128-bit GDDR2 AGP 4X/8X Video Card, 1GB 184-Pin DDR SDRAM DDR 333 (PC 2700) and a Intel Pentium 4 3.0E Prescott 3.0GHz 1MB L2 Cache Socket 478 Processor....I think the stock Dell Dimensions come with like a 230W-240W power supply, would it be really vital to upgrade it?

The processor and the RAM upgrades would not require additional power supply requirements for sure. I believe that even with that video card you should be OK with your proposed upgrades. Your 240W power supply is on the low side, but that simply limits the number of additional devices, such as drives that you can install.

For a Geforce 7600GS card, typical minimum system power requirement is 300W
Also, your new Pentium Prescott can easily burn 30 more Watts than the old Pentium Northwood.
