As long as there's different races, there will be racism.

I think racism is a way of reducing competition. If you can get people to look down on a group of people you've knock off part of the population you don't have to compete with and you have a better chance of getting ahead with less work. Humans are pathetic. So, from that stand point--as long as their is competition there will be racism or something more politically correct at the time (and yes we'll always find something) like dissing fat people or short people or fill in the blank.

Racism is really just a form of social bullying. It's a play for power. If you can find any reason to be better than someone else, then you feel better about yourself(that is the assumption, but it is wrong). We all need to find and have power. Some people find real power which is productive for both them and others. Most people have no idea that their racism is based in feeling unpowerful, and trying to get power.

The power that is derived from racism is short-lived and dishonest.

Personally, I find that some people just have to find a common enemy. In the United States, it used to be many whites showing racism towards blacks, and passages from the Bible were used to support this view, as well as slavery. There were, of course, many whites who were not racist as well, so what was the difference between the two groups? I feel that homosexuals in the United States have replaced blacks, as you have non-gays who hate them (again, using the Bible as their excuse to hate) and non-gays who support them. So again, ask yourself, what's the difference between the two groups, and I think you'll see that it's still wanting to have a common enemy. From the Romans killing Christians, to the Christians killing Muslims during the crusades, to German's supporting Hitler's holocaust, it's all the same.

Because people are ignorant still and there will always be racism due to the things that happen in the past and the things that continue to happen.

I can't get over how people look down on someone for the smallest thing, like a hair in their nose or something. There is racisim in the U.S., and it comes from all directions too.

Because they have nothing better to do, and always want to blame their hardships on other people rather than take responsibility for them.
