Before your auditon, read the ENTIRE play five times, then decide which parts you'd like to play. Do a monologue that is SIMILAR to the character you are looking at, though not from the actual play itself. Then, smile, step up, and be polite and charismatic.

Also, no matter what people tell you, THE LOOK MATTERS. You have to strike a balance between weird (NO pink hair) and bland (do not wear all grey).

Remember to pin your hair back so it isn;t in your face, and make eye contact.

Think about your lines and say them the way people would actually say them not like a robot.

be natural, be yourself. find out what your personal strengths are and use them in your auditions. relax and don't worry about making a fool out of yourself and don't care about what your friends think!
