isn't it unfortuante that america doesn't enjoy football (soccer) like the rest of the world does?

It's very unfortunate. It is a beautiful game and takes much more skill and finesse than people give it credit for. It just seems like here in the US, people are more interested in NFL football, which is a shame, because all other sports get short shrift here.

Yup,so it seems..I think Americans like basketball or something but not soccer..but I do think that several Americans do like football..but of course,the Europeans like football more than the Americans do..no harm intended to Americans here..

It used to be unfortunate for those that do enjoy soccer but had limited access to it. But now we have the MLS and we have soccer on many cable channels.
