I've been guilty of it myself. But if we ignore them-and you know who I'm talking about-maybe they'll go away once and for all! Who's with me?

I keep seeing these dumb, obviously bigoted questions, and they all have like 15, 20, and 30 answers. Why do we even bother anymore?

Oh come on, its fun, you know it is. Besides, it's worth two points to call someone a **** so you've got to be alright with that! :-)

You are the smart one out there.
I have for sometime ignored these types of questions but once in a while I feel I need to defend myself and those others out there.
I really don't know why people that feel that way even want to come to a site that promotes God. Maybe they are jealous of what we have in Jesus Christ.

You know that people like those that you write about wont go away but will gain strenght through the evil in the world. Remember what we have been taught through the Word of God and we will have that crown of gold after making the stand for our faith and for our brothers and sisters of all colors.

I'm sorry if I went too far. I do that at times. May God Bless you and yours.><>

There are two schools of thought on the matter. Personally I agree with you, they are looking to get people upset and doing so is simply encouraging them to continue. On the other hand, there is a principle in law that silence implies consent, and that not speaking out means you agree with them. Cases can be made either way, so we each must decide for ourselves.

Part of the reason is that silence in our society is oft confused with agreement. That aside, in addition to trying not to answer them, we also need to keep reporting them for their hate mongering and slurs against us. I also will rate a thumbs down to a question that I do not bother to answer, then report them. I have started saying in my description of the reason for the report that the entire gay community awaits your action to enforce your own guidelines and stop the hate mongering and bigotry propagated against us by this individual.

even so we must ignore them, but i don't see how that helps. we would never help but answer. hard as it may seem, they'll never really stop it. so why we answer? because we show how many of us truly show how much we love our family anf friends, gay or straight. that way, they will not abkle to get anywhere. we're just striving to the top, showing them that no matter what they think, we're not going to take their s**t. from now on, enough is enough and they need to realize that!

i think there is some hope that something u say can change them... and maybe people think that if 30 people disagree with them, they'll see how stupid they are. unfortunately, i dont think it will ever work. i know people always tell me to ignore people when they say/do things that i dont think are right (in real life) but i can't help myself every time. usually i can ignore it - but it just depends.

I agree with you 100% and have said the same thing. But human nature will have ,most people responding instead of ignoring. It'll take time for anything to sink in

Your right but some times I just feel like giving it right back to them, because it's these morons and the preachers that are causing the deaths of so many of us.

I cant help it. Its like looking at a car accident on the highway. I just have to.

I believe they get some erotic fulfillment out of talking to gays too, so I am happy to help them get off.

Because if we dont the therapists will run out of material to put in the self help books. Personally, I just report them.

I often wonder why they come come to this site? I do not visit there religion site and use as sounding board to be critical of them. Bigots of hate use gays as there "whipping boys and girls."
