Toss moss in a blender with yogurt and paint it on. Keep it moist, or in a moist place and in a couple of weeks, you should have a healthy growth. Buttermilk, instead of yogurt, also works, but doesn't stick as well.

Time...

I am sorry i don't know but the question is interesting I would like to know myself. Except... I have a new concrete "cobblestone" pathway that was very white and new concrete looking and after putting moss in the cracks to "age" it, soften it and make it look like its been around a while. it has an aged appearance the moss spores seemed to have lent a slight green cast to the concrete and it looks much better then the stark white of new concrete.
Sorry I am not of much help Bye.. Wow apparently there is something to the moss thing according to the other answers! Well maybe I was a little helpful after all!

sand blast it asap the longer it cures the harder it gets. You might be able to do it with muratic acid depending on the look you want make sure you use all the safety precautions its very strong read the bottle. but for best results dont dilute just wear good rubber gloves eye protection and a resparator dont breath it .do a small section first in a more unoticable location and take it from there they should have washed it when it was still a little wet like a slightly exposed aggragate ive done it that way before to obtain that look also a little lamp black in the mix.so you know for next time also egg whites promotes the groth of moss on rocks might work on concrete as well

The best and easiest way is to use mud, not to wet though. Take the mud an rub it all over the pot really hard. You can also use yogurt and moss. Spread the yogurt on and then place the moss over that. The moss will then grow and live on the pot.

They paint terracotta pots with watered down yogurt and this encourages algae etc to grow on th pot quite quickly giving an aged look.
