Will the Twins win the World Series?

We can only hope. this time. Good to know Im not the only twins fan out there. Been one since I was six.

If Twins and Tiger faced off in a playoff series today, my money would be on the Twins beyond a shadow of a doubt. The Yankees have a lot of power and some decent pitching. Also, playing at Yankee stadium is very tough. I would expect the Yankees to pose the greatest challange to any of the other teams in the AL.

I don't think they can.
The Twins are dominant at home, but just average on the road. In fact, during both of their world championships,they have won all 8 of their World Series home games, and lost all 6 of their road games. They were lucky that the World Series alternated between leagues back then.
Santana is great, but he can still be beaten. Look how Boston beat him up last week, and the Yankees are a much better hitting team. Still, I may give them one game against the Yankees, but that's it. The Twins definitely need the home field advantage to win.

If you look at the Twins' record this year against the A's, the Tigers and the Yankees, they have a realistic shot to win. Torii Hunter has come on strong lately, plus you have the strong bats of Mauer and Morneau. I also like the speed of Tyner and Bartlett and their bullpen is in good shape too. I am hoping for a Twins, Cards series.

Here is a fun fact...
Since the beginning of June the Twins have been the best team in baseball...no one has been better. The White Sox suck and the Tigers arent as good as you think they are...they're gonna choke. The Twins also have the best hitter/catcher in the majors...JOE MAUER!!!

They'll likely be playing the Yankees and the Yankees have always beat them in the playoffs despite everyone picking the Twins. They'll lose to the Yankees in 4 maybe 5. They have no pitching after Santana.

the twins will most likely make it to the playoffs, however can't see them going to the world series.
got the yanks to play
i am not a yankees fan and would like to see the twins tear apart the yanks, but i doubt it will happen

Both New York teams can beat them. They need a healthy Liriano, but anything is possible in the sport of baseball.
