Do I need A passport to enter into mexico for a holiday travelling from Canada???? anyone

Obviously!!!!!!!!!! U need one or else U will be detained there. U should have been more careful in keeping ur valuable document. BEST OF LUCK----BUDDY

You do need a passport. US Citizens now are also starting Jan. 8th 2007 require a passport for Canada, Mexico, Caribbean, etc. No more traveling on Birth Certificates and Drivers Licenses. I for one am happy. Customs can be horrible and granted after this there will be times they will STILL be horrible. But the BC and DL's are easier to forge, therefore they are doing it for security purposes.

Last I heard for us anyways passports were on a 12 week wait to get them they are so backed up. If you need to expedite to get one you are not only paying an overnight fee, but to be bumped to the head of the line. Easily can run you 60 - 80 dollars.

If you don't already HAVE a passport get one!

Yes, it is going to be mandatory for U.S citizens in January 2007.
