I guess it would be nice; but personally, I would rather see Cheap Trick inducted first, before it's too late.
They are such an influential & innovative band that it makes me sad when I see how often thier impact goes overlooked by the Hall Of Fame staff.
I mean, honestly, is there anybody that DOESN'T know & LOVE the song "I Want You To Want Me"?
3 Dog Night is cool as well, but I REALLY wanna be there when they announce Cheap Trick as the nominees for the next Induction ceremony.
Oh, & I'm going to have to agree & disagree with the person above me that mentioned Steve Miller as well--I agree: STEVE MILLER KICKS @SS! But I'm gonna have to disagree with the comment he made about the Sex Pistols, They put out WAY more than one album, they put out at least 3 that I can name right off the top of my head: "Nevermind The Bollocks", "God Save the Queen", & "The Filth & The Fury", & All 3 were pretty good in my opinion, a little sloppy, but that's what punk is all about, though.

Why not? If they could put the Sex Pistols in there it might as well be open enrollment. Certainly Three Dog Night or Steve Miller would be much better choices than a band that put out only one album which wasn't even that good.

Don't really see them getting in. Especially by a group that was dumb enough to let Blondie in.
If TDN gets in, then we also need to get Rush, Genesis, Chicago, and Yes in.
