My boyfriend left 1 week ago for Marine recruit training and I am having a hard time getting through it and I still have like 2 1/2 months left. I really don't have any friends so I'm alone on this one. Any advice on getting through this or passing time a little faster?

Send him letters -- at least one a week.
Make something for him that you can give to him when he gets back.
Get one of those cardboard disposable cameras and have some pictures taken of yourself that you can send to him.
He's joining quite a group, did you know that? Read "Flag of Our Fathers" and that'll give you something of a glimpse.

since you have time for yourself, relax
go get a massage and take bubble baths... and meet some people so you won't be so alone

read take long walks and what are your intrest hobbies? make him something while he is away . get a job ect but keep busy.
