Please ignore the first comment about they people in Eastern Europe being poor and in poverty. I currently live in the Czech Republic, the days of people trying to scrape together a life are long over and the crime level is no different then when I lived in the U.S. It is a misconception that these countries are poor, undeveloped, and third world.

As for Budapest, most of the problems are focus towards a government that lied to the people not on tourists. Tourism is one of Budapest bread and butter industries and I am sure every effort is being made to protect tourists. If you see a large crowd avoid it or observe it from a safe distance because you will see democracy in action.

We recently came back from Three weeks in Hungary and surroundings, lots of time in Budapest. The political troubles are similiar in nature and feeling to that which happens in the USA. Strong left and right divide in Hungary and no love lost for the governments fiscal policies in some quarters. The people are not poor in Budapest, like any city they have a variety of income levels but nothing like the thrid world. Hungary is very safe, and I never witnessed or read about any crime, at least anything abnormal for a city or predatory on tourists. Do however honor the local system for rail and tram tickets, or expect the local cops to set you straigtht and fine you.

The villages are poorer than the cities, but the homes can be modest by our standards. I never felt threatened in any way, but the small villages are looking at you as a tourist with curiosity, normal stuff.

Do not be afraid, avoid any rallies, simply walk around them or off to the side if you see one. It is safe but oor experiences.

African human beings are Black those who's ancestors were slaves from Africa. Now besides the very undeniable truth that my ancestors were likely slaves besides, i'm no longer an African American because: a million) I stay in Canada 2) My father and mom are both from Jamaica. So eventhough i'm black.. I should not be called an African American. i'm a Canadian or Jamaican. both one will suffice. And besides.. hello with Black human beings claiming the right to be called African human beings? the position did this initiate from? because from what I understand, the merely those who truly have the right, are Africans who stay in u . s . a . and performance recent relatives connection to there or were born there. Africans which contain both blacks and whites from that continent. the very undeniable truth that Europeans and Slaves got here jointly to create what we now comprehend as u . s . a ., makes both activities deserving for the call of being called "human beings" and to that end human beings could no longer ought to distinguish what's what. Race is one of those messy project. Barak Obama is an American. He will be called a Kenyan-American although if he needs because he has recent relatives ties to that u . s ... no longer like the dispora of alternative Blacks in u . s . a . who merely comprehend that they are ANCESTORS got here from Africa. If say Jamaicans (the black diaspora inhabitants) are able to word of themselves by their u . s . of beginning or citizenship first quite then their race.. why can not human beings do the same?
