What do people mainly use them for, and which ones are really popular, or most sought-after?

Pellet/bb guns are used for hunting in some cases, when I was young I had a Benjiman pellet/bb gun, it was pump that you had to pump a lever on the barrell to fill a tube with comprassed air in order to propel the pellet,
I would hunt for rabbit, small birds etc.
Even then if a person was to hit a dog or whatever with the pellet, sometimes it would hit vital organs and after a long time of pain and suffering it would die.
So todays pellet guns are more powerful and more deadly.
Not something to be played with,
my son was shot in the back just a little ways from his spine, and the Doctors said had it been any closer he would have been paralized for life.

You can easily put out an eye or kill yourself at close enough range. BB guns are not toys they are actual guns and are to be treated with the same exact care and respect as a bullet firing gun. Many people use them for hunting and pest control. Most people like myself use them for target shooting.

bb guns are dangerous.My brother was messing around with one of his and it went off by accident and shot me in my left hand.The bb is still there because the doctors said it would be too risky to take it out.Paintball guns aren't as dangerous but if you get shot by one it leaves huge welps and bruises on you!
