Very cold in the winter, gorgeous in summer. 45 minutes - hour away from Denver, so good skiing. Good college town. Hope you enjoy the outdoors and being cold.
Oh yes, Coors products are very cheap.

watch out for some crazy drivers.. some ppl in co. driv differently than in different states and can be rude and do illegal things on the road.... i don't live in fort collins but i live in colorado springs and myy brother lives in thorton/north denver.. so i know some things about colorado.. also there might be lots of spanish speaking people so since this is like a place for mexican immegrants to live and work... so if you know alittle spanish that might help alittle when u go to places where it has people who speak spanish as their native language... my brother worked at chilli's here in colorado springs and he learned spanish cause he worked with mexicans( no offence on the name for most ppl)... also good collage- my bro's friend lives there right now and is finishing collage there.. ... also lots of snow too at times but beautiful

It is decent place to live. Beautiful in the summer,but of course cold in winter.
