I don't know what might go wrong or if multiple votes can be easily done by the same person. But I think it's a great idea & I think more people would vote. How about presidential candidates (Or any candidates) having a big TV debate 2 weeks before the voting day? Instead of all this sniping & campaigning crap that goes on for months until you're so sick & tired of it you don't even vote!!!
It is getting harder & harder to get people to work the polls.

How do you regulate it? Now when you vote you have to sign your name and it is done in front of a poll worker. This poll worker gets to know you so they are used to you and know you by face. With electronic voting someone could vote for you and vote against your wishes. Also the personal element is gone.

I'd be in favor of it if you could convince me there was a way to verify the voter was a legal registered voter casting his single vote. I don't think that can be done without some major overhauls to both the elections systems and to internet security.

Right now I am skeptical that can be done but I'm willing to listen to arguments and demonstrations it can be done.
