ATLANTA...i was born & raised in chi but i travel to ATL a few times a yr and love it. They have good schools there (4 of my friends are CLARK grads and 1 from MORHOUSE)....but you should not pick a school according to where you want to live, you should pick a school because it will fit your needs!

Cleveland, Detroit, Columbus. Look into The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio. It's a huge school with an incredible diverse student body. Columbus is also diverse (ethnically and racially) as well. There's a lot to do and it's not expensive at all...especially compared to Chicago. Plus, the weather is very similar.

If you don't like the living idea in the actual heart of Chicago then you can live in the burbs near the city and just travel in when your looking for excitement or entertainment. I personally have always resided in the Chicagoland west suburbs and I love not being far from the Chi. Keep in mind that if weight is an issue then be careful, cuz everyone knows our food is out of this world and no one else in the U.S can compete with the midwest when it comes to all different types and ethnicities of foods!!!! ex's greek town, china town, little italy, chi town beefs and the infamous chi town hotdog and polishes! (feel the weight yet?)

You might like Minneapolis/St. Paul -- it's a little colder than here in Chi-Town (yep, I'm from Chicago, too), but it has a nice downtown and a pretty vibrant cultural scene. Or maybe Madison, Wisconsin? Very similiar to Chicago weatherwise -- smaller, of course, but very diverse and tons to do.

whilst My kinfolk and that i've got been attempting to compliment the place to bypass to we visited many city's and Chicago by potential of a approaches grow to be the only that incredibly did it for us so we moved right here and characteristic not regretted that decision for even one 2d! it is any such super place in any such super form of approaches it might take hours to speak approximately all of it. And the crime isn't undesirable, it is in purely a pair of distant section's. I easily have in no way had any issues nor has all people else that i understand of.

Hey Hey don't insult my hometown I love Chicago its' better than NY and LA because both places are overcrowded the smog is terrible and it's not as clean and accessable as Chicago. The shopping is awesome and so are the restarants. Hey I am proud to say Chicago is the place since we are the 2005 World Series Champs.

St. Paul. It's by Mall of America...plenty of shopping. In the winter you can't see the dirt. It will be covered with 4 ft of snow.
What are you going to study...Consumer Education?
