the thing is that school yearbooks have deadlines all throughout the year for submitting pictures for certain pages. the only thing you can do is check with the yearbook advisor to see if you can submit another picture with a matching background and similar sizing (they won't want something that looks too different). find out when the deadline is and don't miss it!
if you're just wanting to BUY pictures, just get some made somewhere else! school pics are never the best anyway

Talk to the Principals secretary and find out how to contact the picture company. then either call and find out, or have your parent call for you. The problem isn't whether you can retake a pic its whether you will be included in yearbooks and stuff if your picture is late

Ask the school about who did the photograhy, but don't get your hopes up, because they probably got a deal on all the pictures;
You are free to go to any photography studio and have better pics taken .

Good luck on getting a re-take.
But if you should fail, know that you're in good company. I don't know anybody my age who doesn't cringe and laugh at their old high school pictures
Be grateful you didn't graduate in the 1970's...the airplane collars and sideburns are real stomach turners now days...and the girls hair do's weren't much better...

believe me, its nothing to get worried about. i went to highschool, i never bought a yearbook, and i never cared about it. its not that important. you should not be too concerned with how you look. im pretty sure thats one of the seven deadly sins. its been a long time since ive seen seven, so im not sure which one, but you should be satisfied with what you have

Worry more about your grammar and spelling. Worry less about your picture.
Todays pictures won't help your future, but an education will help.
