I love those tigers- who else wants them to go all the way

Of course I want them to go all the way. I think they can, but it's imperative that they win the Central. They cannot face the Yankees in the first round. They have to hang on and draw the Athletics. Minnesota can handle New York, and the LCS would be Tigers and Twins. My prediction is and will remain Tigers over Mets in seven.

I DO! I DO! I DO! It is gonna be a battle, but it's do-able. We need Polanco back, and everybody firing on all 8 cylinders, but if they can do that, nobody else can stop them!
And yes, the last time they won Detroit did blow up. But that was 22 years ago, and lots more towns have blown up for the same reason in the last 22 years. Are you implying that if the city has ever gotten carried away in celebration, they shouldn't win a Series? Will Detroit blow up again if that happens? I don't know. Probably. for some reason, that seems to be the mode of celebration these days. I would like to see us behave better than that, tho'

i dont think the Tigers will win. I know they will! they got a little hung up there but now things are back on track and they are just going to roll right through all that try to stand in there way. and yeah we got a little crazy the last time we won. but thats Detroit and if you cant run with the big cats stay out of our city.

I would like to see the Tigers win (they are the home team), but cant help not wanting them to lose to the Yankees. I love the Yankees (my true love of baseball has been since the minute i was born). GO YANKEES!!

DETROIT TIGERS !!!!! yeah have to say Im REALLY hopin they go all the way its been a VERY VERY long time since they've done this well!!! My b/f is a HUGE baseball/Tigers fan & pretty much if htey're on TV they're on at my house!! lol
Im pretty excited we're going to see em on the 1st!! SHould be LOTS of fun fun fun!!! HOPE THEY WIN!

Now that the Red Sox are out of it, I wouldn't mind seeing the Tigers win it, Jim Leyland is a class act, and I hope they do well in the postseason.....as long as the Yankees don't win it....it's all good.

Never say Never,They have just as good of a chance as any of the other teams that are in it.Look at what happened in 2004 with the Red Sox,The team that is most hungry,is the team that will win it all!!!!

Well im a dodgers fan,i think it will be minnessotta twins or the mets whom will win the world series.

Nope, sorry they will not make it. Look at the way they have played the last month. This is a team that is limping in to the playoffs. The A's (if they manage to win the division) or the Yankees (if they choke) should handle them fairly easily.

This is the first years I've bothered watching in about ten years or so and I'm really enjoying seeing them play. I do thiink they have a chance---it would be great, wouldn't it?
