My boyfriend and I have been together for two years. He has talked about marriage, but always has a reason not to. Every time we complete something he wants, he will find something else that needs to get done. We get along great and have a lot in common, but there are things that I want and need, but he does not seem to relate. For example, he has benefits through his job and I have benefits through the VA, Of course, his are better, but he doesn't seem to care. Am I being selfish or is he?

i think one way he is ready and another way he is not.i think he may be scared in a way or maybe don't know how to ask you to marry him,i know my man was scared he went to my mom and ask her how he should.he ask me last christmas and we was toghter for 2 years.all i can reall tell you is that don't push it cause then he may never do it.or maybe in the back of his head he thinks that if you guys get married things will change.what ever the reason maybe give it time.has he been marryed before cause if so then he is scarded but give it time.i had this friend he this guy did not ask her to marry him untill they where on there 4th year.i hope i answer your question and i hope one day soon he will ask you i.i know it is a great filling when a guy does ask you.

He's foolish to not marry you and secure the partnership. You shouldn't have to wonder about each oithers future; you tell him it's time to marry so that you can build up a life and work towards goals. Living together is a limbo that wastes both your and his time.

How old r u??? I think two years r still short time to get marry!!! Don't hurry him now, he isn't ready!!! Let spend time with his life, learn ab his habid and heart more 2 years then talk to him ab this again...I hope he will consider and think ab this if he realy love u...G luck

I think he is. He is probably afraid to step up to the plate. Someone or something might be holding him back 2

Obviously, your boyfriend is comfortable with the current situation--not being married. Don't force him...in time, when he is ready, he will marry you.
