They will need to be very old, and in near mint condition. Otherwise you will probably get around 50 cents for the ones that you actually do sell. By very old I mean from the 1960s or 50s. Or, if you have some of the first of a newer title that started in the 70s, like the first ghost rider, they may be worth up to $100 or more.

I only want to add a few things:
First, the year of publication is important, it's not the same if they are original editions from the 40's or 50's, than 80's or 90's.
Then, they have to be not on good, but excellent conditions, no corners bent, no marks, no nothing!
And then it goes to what happens on them like Superman's death or coming back, first appearances of would-be popular characters (i.e. the Punisher on Spidey or Daredevil, Wolvie himself on The Incredible Hulk, or the first appearance of Tim Drake as or not as Robin).
So follow the advices above and good luck. Who knows, Daredevil might actually become a popular character someday... lmao, jk, DD fans without fear.

The age of a comic has little, if anything, to do with perceived value. That's a popular myth concerning back-issue comic books.
It deals primarily with supply and demand.
I'd consult Overstreet's Comic Book Price Guide. Or you can take them to your local comics shop and see what kind of offer you can get. But remember, a guide is just that, a GUIDE to national averages among comic shops nationwide. Nothing is carved in stone.

Actually not much at all. Check out ebay. The only people who make money on comic books are the stores. Unless you have one that is in mint condition and over 50 years old...forget it.

Get a copy of this: http://www.cbgxtra.com/ The Comic Book Buyer's Guide, or go to any local comic store. They'll have the market price.
