Not sure. They would still need to win at least 6 out of the next 7 games AND get some help from the Padres and Brewers in beating the Cardinals. The oddsmakers have it at best 50/50 for the Astros to get in. If they do get in, they will be the hottest team in the playoffs.
I hope they can pull it off! Go Astros!

hell yes they can make it. The stros are 78-78 and the cards are 80-75. The most we can stand for the cards to win is 4 of the next seven putting them at 84-78 and the stros would have to win out puttig them at an even 84-78 which would require the one game playoff to be held in Houston. If the cards win 3 we have to win 5, them 2 us 4. So we have to win 2 more than them and the most tey can win is 4. GO ASTROS!!!

Nothing would give me greater pleasure than to see the Cardinals miss the playoffs! It is a long shot, but anything is possible! I don't like the Astros much, but would love it to see them continue this streak and overtake the Cardinals!

Cards have lost too many games recently and the stros are on an absolute tear so I have them winning it, maybe taking momentum into the post season enough to make it to the NLCS and challenge the Mets for a world series appearence.

No way, they are too far out this late in the season, the Phillies are leading the Wild Card and I think will win that.
I hope that Astros don't make it, I can't stand them especially after they beat the Cardinals in the NLCS...
GO CARDS!!!

The Brewers and Cubs will harm out of their slumps ultimately, and the Astros can no longer stay warm forever, so I say no. regardless of in the event that they make the playoffs they gets overwhelmed by using the Mets or Phillies (Whoever wins the East) in the 1st around.

St. Louis sux and has melted down. If only Phil Garner had made some better moves (i.e. playing Huff everyday and never playing Lane or Ensberg) then I think they'd already be in. I'm a fan and i wish them the best.....they really are coming on -- hopefully it's not too little too late.

No I dont think so....its a long shot.
They HAVE to win the division cause I dont see them getting the wild card...cause the Phillies or Dodgers are gonna get that.
