I've been demeaned and embarassed and definitely don't owe her any consideration. That's why there is no way I'm going to give my two week's notice and walk quietly away. How would you quit if you were in my situation? Obviously, nothing that involves violence. I want to go to a better job, not prison, but other than that, I'm open to suggestions. Real ideas only please. No lectures on being a bigger person, not sinking to her level etc. I need a little bit of revenge. Thanks.

The best revenge in the world is sweet success. If you do not give 2 weeks, she can come back and bite you in the butt, because you are then "non-rehirable" at that company, and your resume will be dogged by that - she will have the revenge, not you.

BTW, I don't know what state you're in, but many states (like Michigan), if you give 2 weeks notice and they make you leave earlier they have to pay you for those 2 weeks. During those two weeks, return her dirt to her, and when she tells you not to come back, make sure you have it in writing and get your $$ due to you. That is sweet revenge which will not haunt you.

This is a tricky situation. Try this: for the next 2 weeks or so do the best possible job, be upbeat and sweet. When you are gone, your boss will regret not having you for an employee. Your replacement can't possibly do what you do right away and it will show. Wait for a week or two on the new job and send your boss a card describing all the great things at your new job, and just "mention" that you hope your replacement is working out. I can hear the teeth grinding now!!!

Forget being a big person. Revenge is soooo theraputic.
I HAVE THE BEST THERAPY! There are revenge sites that I, myself, have used. THere is a gent named Mark Fain on Ebay who sells revenge postcards, gag gifts (cookie tin all pretty filled with DOGGIE POOP for the unsuspecting receipient) for great prices. NEVER traced to you and always anonymous. He goes by "MarkFain" on ebay and has tons of great revenge pranks that he will address to anyone you chose for a low price.
THere is also a source on the net (just look under revenge letter and search for it) that will send a letter undermining the boss and their lack of management ability. There are many ways to get revenge without breaking the law.
Good for you in a new endeavor and good luck.
Oh yes, and try to be cautious of references. I used a friend in another dept. for my "boss" reference. No one was the wiser and I have a great job now and I'm happy.

Do you want to sink to her level? It is said that the best revenge is living well. Give notice. Take the new job. Then let everyone at this job know how great your new job is. The word will get around.

I would give my two week notice if you don't most companies will put this in your file. If a new employer calls and asks would you hire them back? Without giving notice you may get the "No" answer from your old employer. If you don't care about the above. I don't know what you do but if you have to return any company property Ex: Uniforms, badge. stapler. wrap up this property in a box like a birthday present and send it to your boss. I have seen it done before it is quite funny.

No revenge, that is not a mature way of handling anything. Remember, you still need references someday. Who is her supervisor? Can you set up a meeting and discuss, calmly, what exactly has happened. Hopefully you have some proof.

If those aren't options, quit and get another job fast. Your best revenge is doing well somewhere else.

Be a big person. Say I quit, I hate working here, I am not coming back (ever), send my check though the mail.

I know what you mean. It usually happens to everyone at least once in their career. I don't know your personality or interests so I'd just say go job hunting in places that interest you.
