Mass: Weigh the object in a gravitational field equal to earth standard.

Volume:
a) If it is a simple shape, measure the dimensions and compute the volume by standard mensuration formulae.
b) If it is an irregular shape, submerge it in water and measure the voulme of the displaced water.

Unasked ?: Density-- divide the mass by the volume

mass is simply weight / g (g : gravitional constant); so to get the mass, simply weigh an item

to find its volume, use the formulae for regular shapes...otherwise, measure the volume of water displaced by the object when it is fully submerged... a little tricky but that will do...

Density = Mass / Volume
Therefore,
Volume * Density = Mass
To find volume, if it is a rectangle, just multiply L * W * H (length * width * height)
