Personally, the car company lost my purchase because these ad companies with STARBUCKS DRINKING, PASSAT and JETTA driving employees are making me sick to my stomach.

Thanks for posting this. I saw this commercial for the first time yesterday and it's awesome. AppleKK I think you missed the point about the ad. Yes they have people of different cultures and ethnicities in some ads, but you almost never see them showing an interracial couple. This was a one in a million. The other thing I noticed and I'm sure many Afr. Amer women will have noticed this too: The woman they used was not a light skinned girl. She was darker. This is another great thing about this ad because I know that most of the time they use light skinned girls like they're saying that if you're Black you can only be beautiful if you're light skinned. So I'm glad they showed an interracial couple and they made the statement by finally showing a woman of a darker complexion. Even if they are trying to be PC, nobody else is, so good for Old Navy.

I was wondering that myself. I have noticed that even some of the old punk band that used to be so hated are on the commercials. I'd like to hear some old funk tunes from the 70's. Maybe the names of the songs fit the commercial.

Why not email or handwrite a letter to the company and tell them how you feel. They will appreciate you input. You may even get some free stuff!

Probably for the same reason the Cadillac Escalade commercials have only black people in them. Ad execs are just as racist as anyone else.
