Why see things in black and white? Thats how a conservative sees things.

The truth is, different situations have different causes, and virtually all failures are caused by some combination of the individual and their circumstances.

Many people on here will not accept the fact that in this country, business could not work without the use of people to be the buffer for Supply and Demand!

There will NEVER BE Full Employment! IT IS IMPOSSIBLE!!

But corporations take NO responsibility for those who they created, then they turn those who have a half-way decent job against them that the people they work for made!!

People who are poor, who are hungry, who have no place to live, DO NOT have a choice! Their fate was sealed the moment they were born! Many who are unemployed are children, the elderly and the disabled! As the people that some of the elderly worked for for 30 years stole their pensions, went into bankruptcy and started another company, they are left to someone to help! And the conservatives don't want to do it! They would rather start wars to make companies rich with no-bid contracts while they cut taxes of the rich! Something wrong with that picture!

The basic difference between a conservative and a Democrat or liberal,is that they have no honor! They are unable to empathize as they have no conscience, and their every action is dictated by their pocketbook! That is just about the definition of a psychopath!

People's parents have a lot to do with how they turn out. This working parents or single working parent are not a good start in life for a kid. Even kids of well-off families are at risk if both parents are working. Spoiling children with things is just as bad as depriving them. You can't expect school to teach kids to grow up to be good citizens that's the parents job. They wanted the kids (presumably), it's their fault if they don't give the kid some direction in life. If they can't look after the kid they should adopt it out, then it will not be their fault when the kid becomes a school shooter, a serial killer or a terrorist. Having said that, the kid can't turn round and blame his parents for individual crimes that he/she commits......well he/she could but that's not gonna stop the law punishing him/her.

Since Adam failed in the midst of all that God gave him, I'd say that 1) God gave the individual a choice and 2) God places accountability on the individual.

Seems kinda simple when you're not looking at the complexity of today's world, but God doesn't change.

personal responsibility is of days past. Today's society thrives off of ambulance chasers and a deck of "blame" cards. When we admit we are personally wrong as individuals only then will the world be a better place

A person raised without good guidance who has sunk deeply into poverty and misery can still make ethical, morally correct decisions.

A person raised with wealth, comfort and no negative influences can become a total monster.

It is a matter of personal choice to do right or to do wrong.
