Have you had both circumcised and uncircumcised partners?

Which do you prefer?

Why?

How did intercourse feel different?

I've had both, and it doesn't feel THAT much different. Although it doesn't look as nice wen flacid, I prefer the feeling of an uncircumcised partner. Once the penis is erect, the skin on an uncircumcised penis tightens up, so it's not like there's "too much" skin, and the little bit of skin around the penis that didn't tighten makes less friction when inside the girl, so it feels better to both partners. It is said that an uncircumcised penis has more feeling also. Imagine part of your finger was cut off... Do you think if would have the same amount of feeling as all your other fingers? In addition, uncircumcised penises can be a bit longer (since part of it wasn't cut off). My boyfriend is very happy with his uncircumcised penis. There is a lot of controversy on this topic now.

Studies show that uncircumcised babies tend to distance themselves for the first part of childhood. Many times, when a circumcised baby is handed to the mother to nurse for the first time, they will turn away and won't drink. People SAY that circumcision doesn't hurt, because when the baby comes back he isn't crying, but it is actually because he is in a state of shock. I saw a video in my human sexuality course that is truly disturbing and heartbreaking, and if I ever have a boy, there is no way I'm letting a doctor circumcise him. The baby is strapped down (like Jesus on a cross), and while he is crying and screaming hysterically, and hes face is turning purple, part of his penis is cut off! Think about it... Up until recently, the babies weren't even giving anesthesia (even in the US). In the video showed, there were five different babies and they all did the same thing, it wasn't just one baby having a different reaction than most.

Doctors used to say that circumcising was more "clean", and it would help to prevent STDs and other diseases. This may be a bit true, but as long and the boy cleans him self thoroughly, circumcision has nothing to do with it.

It of course is up to the parent to decide their son's penile fate, but after I saw the footage, that took place in the US, as did everything else I learned about, I don't think I could do that to my little baby boy. And if, when the boy grows up, he decided on his own accord, that he wants to get it done, I will support him, and then he will be conscious of the decision. I say this because further into the video, there were many adult males saying they were mad at their parents for doing that to them without their concent (although there may me many other reasons why they are mad at their parents, too). I will leave him uncircumcised and let him make his own decision when he is old enough to do so.

As a circumcised male I find that I must work very hard at sex (deep hard thrusts for a very long time) in order to reach my orgasm, because of sensitivity loss. The gals say great, just what we want. Actually it's more like "Aren't you soon done?" and I just roll off and finish myself by hand. Kind of takes the fun out of it; If you know what I mean.

I have gotten some feeling recovery using a penal sheath worn under my clothing to protect my glans from clothing friction, this recovery has taken weeks. (see 'senslip.com') Now I am able to orgasm before she has to ask me to stop. Obviously this is more desirable to both of us. This experiment proved to me just how much damage circumcision has done to me and my sex life. But I find it very demeaning for me, a fifty six year old man, to have to attach a piece of plastic to my manhood every day so that I can enjoy making love once in a while. This is why I am now a "crusader" against circumcision.

An earlier post mentions female mutilation still going on in Africa and wondering where the crusaders are for that. Female mutilation has been banned in this country (the U.S.) but sadly in other parts of the world religious, cultural and cosmetic practices still prevail over the basic rights of human dignity. And in this country (the U.S.) those rights are still not afforded to little boys. This is our crusade.

I have dated both. I say dated because when it came down to it, I didn't sleep with the one uncircumcised person that I dated because he wasn't as clean as he should have been considering the fact that he was uncircumsised.

To the answerer that described the circumcision procedure in such a horrid way, it isn't like that everywhere. I personally witnessed my son's circumcision in the hospital 2 days after he was born. First of all, yes, he was strapped down ... but guess what? I was strapped down when I had my c-section. They strapped me down when they took my tonsils out. There is some restraint involved in most surgical procedures. He was not kicking nor screaming, nor was he turning purple. He was laying contently sucking on a pacifier. When they brought him to me to nurse, he nursed with no problem.

More importantly, I would like to say that I think that there is a lot of noise being made about circumcision that really isn't necessary ... and that's from both sides of the fence. Okay, so some say it isn't necessary. This may be true, but the bottom line is that at the end of the day, parents are going to make their decision based on personal preference, not statistics.

**I had to come back and add something to my answer after reading the sermon below about circumcision. The answerer states that if it were a common practice to do this to baby girls women would be in an uproar. Well, I would like to mention that many countries in Africa have practice and still practice femae circumcision, in which the clitoris is altered so that sexual pleasure is impossible and sex is only for procreation. Now, that being said, where are the crusaders that want that to end??

I have never had a partner that wasn't circumcised. I don't think I would judge a guy because of that and I wouldn't use it against him, it wasn't his decsion. I know that my husband and I have talked about this and plan on circumcising our son as soon as he is born. I don't know which I would prefer not knowing what the difference feels like and I don't plan on finding out considering I am married and he is circumcised.

I truly have had both. I favor uncircumcised. looks better effective, far better relaxing to play with, and sex feels better effective because the exterior strikes and this feels reliable. they are basic to save clean in case you prepare straightforward own hygiene. i'd in no way circumcise a baby. it truly is mutilation.

I have had only circumcised partners. I would perfer circumcised partners because their risk of infections and STD's is greatly lowered just by not having that foreskin. And plus it's just easier for them to keep clean.

what difference does it make? You don't look for partners based on something like that. " Hello, what's your career, financial status, views on religion, oh by the way are you Circumcised"?

I have only had circumcised partners. I think I prefer them, not that I have anything to base it on. It is just a comfort level thing with me.

MOTHERS, the feelings of mothers who observed the circumcision of their babies. Go here if you have the courage:
http://www.circumcision.org/mothers.htm
They do not remember the pain when they grow up, but I wonder what kind of neurological damage it does to inflict such severe pain to such a young one!

In the US circumcision started to stop boys from masturbating; they will take much longer to reach the orgasm, and the orgasm will not be as intense, but that will not stop them.
Nowadays the “medical” reasons to circumcision are for Doctors to make MONEY!!!

RELIGION--If God intended boys to not have "skin" He would have made them so.
http://www.nocirc.org/religion/

HYGIENE--Use a new invention, soap and water!!! Women produce much more “smegma”, all kinds of discharges, wetness, and smells; because of physiologic and anatomical reasons, and how would you feel if they cut your vulva lips??? Women, why don’t you answer my question, are you afraid? Baby girls are more likely to get urinary tract infections and no one suggests we surgically alter them at birth to reduce the risks! Just one of many double standards and laws that always treat men worse.

MEDICAL REASONS--No medical reasons. A extremely small chance of a complication do not justify the removal of the foreskin, if so, why don't we remove the tonsils and the appendix when a child is born, and the chance of complications of the tonsils and the appendix is much greater. And for infections of all the organs, including female organs, use a new invention called antibiotics. Talking about complications, in fact many baby boys die each year from circumcision and related complications.
EVEN if phimosis occurs, instead of chopping it off like barbarians!, use Conservative Treatments like:
-Topical Medication(non-traumatic and non-destructive)
-Dilation and Stretching(non-traumatic and non-destructive)
-Combination treatment(non-traumatic and non-destructive)
-Preputioplasty is the medical term for plastic surgery of the prepuce or foreskin(many methods).
If you want more detail on Conservative Treatments, go here:
http://www.cirp.org/library/treatment/phimosis/
http://www.circinfo.org/alternatives.html
And now they invented a new reason to make money, the risk of STD in uncircumcised men. Well actually uncircumcised men have more protection, but in practical terms that protection means nothing, because circumcised or not, if you have sex without protection and your partner have an STD you will be infected FOR SURE! That means, it is just one more stupid and desperate reason in order to make money with circumcisions.

SEX--Foreskin actually enhances the sexual experience for men because it constantly moves over the head of the penis causing more friction and pleasure. Men will also lose much sensitivity to the glans if circumcised.
Circunsized men will have to deal with disconfot and dry glans.
The foreskin have those functions: protective, erogenous, sensory, and sexual physiologic. After all, why would you want to lose all of those “Meissner corpuscles”, the same nerve complexes which provide fine touch to the fingertips?
It is there for many reasons, that is how a man should be(it is natural).
If women like it better circumcised because it looks better(strange, not natural) or gives them more sexual pleasure(strange, not natural), then too bad, they do not have the right! All men do not like mutilated vulvas, and all men like breasts with nipples, they do not like mutilated breasts, etc, etc, etc, because that is the way those organs are supposed to be, it is natural. Interesting, isn’t?!!!

If that was a common practice to do that to baby girls, all the women would be in a big uproar about it(and men too!, men are not like women), but it’s ok to mutilate little boys. The great majority of the ones that agree with circumcision are women for their stupid selfish reasons. Even court cases reported in which mother and father fight because the mother wants to mutilate the son, it is always the mother!. You women should be ashamed to that to your son. Men that are not circumcised, will not get circumcised when adults, they would scream, kick, fight and run, if someone tries to mutilate their privates area, just like you women would run too if someone tried to do that to your labia. Men that where circumcised do not realize what they lost because never had one, and most of them that do realize try to justify it so they do not feel bad about it. Many circumcised men feel very bad emotionally because of what was done to them to such a private area.
It is mutilation of defenceless children in the most private spot, genital mutilation.
It is cruel and barbaric.
It is a human rights violation.
It is not the parent’s decision; it is the parents decision if they want to abuse him, rape him, or to kill him?.
I do not even agree that it is ok if an adult man wants to get circumcised. I think it is wrong, because if a man wants to lose a finger, the Doctor can not do that to him. Think about it, think, think. And by the way, adult men that decide to get circumcised, do it because they know most women like it, they just do it to be more accepted by women.
I think it is just like slavery and all other barbaric acts of the past, it was accepted because it was common practice or tradition, everyone accepted slavery without questioning the facts, but it is not accepted anymore in a modern and fair and civilized society. Circumcision must not be allowed, BY LAW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Many other reasons not to do it, check it out:
