Most men who have varicoceles were born with them. Doesn't have anything to do with masturbation. Varicoceles can lower sperm count though.

Varicocele has to do with an internal irritation of the veins in the scrotum leading from the testicles. Masturbation should not worsen the problem. It is the internal irritation that is causing it, not masturbation.
