gender sway website?

Question

I know that nature decides the gender of baby in the end but does anyone know of any sites that have tips on increasing your chances of one sex? If your going to say "be happy with what you get" dont bother to answer. I am happy with what i have been blessed with just curious on this subject.

Here's how you sway the odds. You track your period to see how many days between cycles you have. Women usually ovulate about 14 days before they have a period. So if you have a 30 day cycle you would probably ovulate on day 16, with day 1 being the first day of your last period. Female sperm live longer, while male sperm are faster but die quicker. To try for a girl you have sex 4 and 3 days before you ovulate and then abstain for the next 3 days. This will cause only female sperm to be left when you ovulate. To try for a boy have sex the day you ovulate and the day afterwards so that the male sperm have a chance to get up to the egg faster, but abstain for the 3 days before that. Good luck. It worked for me and my best friend. It's called the Shettles method.

i had a good answer for this a long time ago..
but i don't have a website handy for it,
this was before i had a computer,
but there are several things you can do to 'change the odds'
acid / alkaline is one trick factor ,
it involves douching with either a vinegar solution mixture or another one and sorry i don't remember which is which or what.
it was an article in an old readers digest.
also the previous answers are correct about time of ovulation,
and also his sperm count may depend on how often you 'do it' before ovulation.
for example,
i don't remember again which is which,
but for one sex you do it a lot before ovulation...
then take it easy...
if you want the other sex...
you refrain from sex for a long time until you are ovulating,
and then do it as many times as possible until you can't any more
sorry i can't be more specific, but i want to tell you there are ways to influence the outcome.
my neighbor had 6 girls before they finally had a son, then they quit trying to conceive
good thing they were rich!...ha,ha

there are also certain foods that you can eat to help. I wouldnt count on those charts completly but there are always children that can be adopted and that way for sure you will have a girl. Good luck in whatever you choose

There is a book called "How to Choose the Sex of your Baby" written by Landrum Shettles. I have a copy of it and used it when we wanted to try for a girl...and it worked!

I was always told that since the girls live longer if you have sex before you ovulate you should have a girl. But if you are trying to have a boy have sex the day of ovulation.

I have always heard that girl sperm are strong swimmers and boy sperm are fast swimmers, so if you stand up after sex, then the strong swimmers win and you have a girl, if you tilt your pelvis after sex, the fast swimmers win and you have a boy. There are soooo many tales for that though. I can say I stood up after sex though and have 2 girls!

although only God decides, u can increase your chances either way

to have a boy: have sex 1 day before, during, and one day after ovulation

to have a girl: have sex 3 to 4 days before ovulation, and STOP one day before.

the reason? male sperm swim faster (therefore if u do it before, during and one day after, you'll increase the chances of conceiving a boy)

and female sperm swim slower but they survive longer, so if you deposit them in the vagina 3 to 4 days BEFORE ovulation, then, they can take their time to swim there just in time for the egg to arrive (but they will witstand more harshness then the male sperm)
