Music.
People can still interact with music on.
Television makes people like vegetable zombies sometimes, and instead of interacting together they sit and watch a screen.

it actually depends on my mood. Sometimes i like to jam with my fav tunes loudly and dance around (usually when no one is at home). Most of time, i prefer watching a real good movie!
