Yes my best friend is male, married, and very happy. I was his best man\woman at his wedding. I guess its how you are as a person just because they are male doesn't mean you can't just be friends. I have a boyfriend as well and love him with all my heart. He says the majority of people have shallow minds and can not achieve that kind of friendship. He is probley right but some of us can. I hope this answers your question good luck :)

I beleive that they can, but somewhere along the line someone, either the male or the female, will catch some strong feelings and if the other person does not feel the same way, the friendship will not be as strong as it once was. They will still be friends, nonetheless.

tried it - it works for awhile, but eventually the laws of attraction usually take over.

in group settings, it usually works, but once you start hanging out with one guy all the time, somehow it changes - and your best bud either starts liking you or somehow he seems "cute" to you one day.

think it is human - and how we'd re-populate the world if ever the stranded on a desert island thing really happened.

Definitely yes, it is a higher level of love without sensuality involved. It is agape love. I have the experience of such relationship.

After a couple of weeks of sex, and you move half-way across the country, yes.

Yes until you give them any indication that you want to change the rules then all bets are off.

Sure they can, as long as both are immutably gay. If either or both are hetero, sooner or later one will make a move.

Why not? I have several male friends and don't have any desire to sleep with any of them(or they with me!)
