From the perspective of negative and positive being forces that act against each other, do you think perhaps there are peolple honestly disposed toward the negative...people who are not deceived, hurt, or even 'evil'...that act out this honest negativity through self-destruction. This would be the person that is satisifed when wallowing in self-hatred and depression, the person who truly searches for the dark and taboo emotions of the human mind. Do you think a person like this could really exist, or do we all inherently desire happiness and growth? The ones of us who feel sorrow, are all of us really unhappy and restless with it, or could there be a few that...to phrase it in one way, are 'only happy when it rains'?
Do you think this kind of person could exist, or would they really be more like a mislead or hurt person, who is blinded by their own negative experiences and perceptions of them? Is there true 'evil' in humans? I don't want to say 'evil', but that's likely what I mean

Let me clarify my use of the word evil. I'm speaking of the generally accepting concept of good and bad...Some kind of a God verses A Devil or Satan.
My question is, if you think this kind of person exists, this very negative self-destructive type...would you classify them as evil, or simply a counterpart to what we're used to seeing...the person who desires happiness, love, and positive accomplishment and dislikes misery and pain, no matter what they tell you?

I didn't really have anyone in particular in mind when I asked this question, but yes...I know at least one. She happens to be my half-sister. And sometimes I get so angry and sad...I wonder if maybe I just enjoy it...because it happens so often and I rarely do anything about it.

Okay...with serial killers. I definitely agree that they would be a very good, but extreme example of what I'm talking about.
Do you think maybe, as a serial killer expresses their hatred and torture outwardly, towards others, someone who commits suicide might feel these same horrible emotions, and just happen to take it out on themselves instead of another person? Is there really a difference, other than our perceptions of morality?

Sorry...I know I'm probably asking a lot more questions than all of you would want to answer at once, but to me they're all related...and it's the same exact confusion.

humans are good, they want good things. but sometimes a human gets a twisted perception of what is good, so even though they do something bad, in their mind its good. Then there are those who surpass good and evil and just don't care. They hurt others and enjoy it, giving in to their primal instincts, their killer instincts

What you're meaning to say... I hope I DO get the gist of it because it was such a LONG read, lol=P is that is this hatred/ bitterness/ negativity or "evil" as you've put it ~ self-inflicted (??)
Usually, in incidents where there's an occurrence of extreme trauma i.e. a death of a loved one, heartache, loss of occupation, etc can lead to a downward spiral for some individuals.
If left untreated, the said individual will then develop these "negative" feelings which breeds & manifests itself either in violence or self-harm to oneself and/ or others. So basically, these "evil" energy are actually brought upon them by circumstance NOT by themselves.
Naturally, when someone is depressed or tired of keeping up with the rat race so to speak, they turn into a shell, a self-defense mechanism if you will, to shield them from further pain.

Yes, I hate to say this, but my mother had that personality. She grew up in a very abusive home and wasn't educated or knew very much about anything.
This whole experience caused her to have an extremely negative outlook on everything. Some people said she was evil. She made everyone's life miserable around her, she had no friends.
She wound up dying from cancer a few years ago, and I took care of her in her last six months because the caretaker who was doing it, couldn't do it anymore.
She was very self-destructive in a lot of ways and nothing ever made her happy.

Evil is very real and it can exists in humans. Whether, it's inherited or self motivated, is unclear to me. But...I do believe that people can create their own unhappiness, breeding negative forces which cause more grief and despair. One bad, person can cause damnation for many...causing happy people to become sad by good news, for fear of telling the negative because they may feel - it causes more pain to the unhappy person.
TAKE my MOTHER...she can never be happy for my happiness...though - I love her. Her negative energy...causes me to become uneasy with any move I make, therefore, I tend to feel unsure of the right choice, causing some delay and losing the window of opportunity to close or come close to missing it's importance. I learned to do it...and tell her later. Taboo...maybe, but, I'm not taking the risk anymore. I've learn to tell her GOOD news...after it happens, so she can give me her negitive vibe.

Water seeks it's own level. If you deal with a negative person, it is highly likely that you will begin to get negative thoughts yourself. My Mama used to say if you lay with dogs, you get fleas. If someone is highly unhappy and you go away for a while, come back in a few years and you will find that they have done nothing to improve the situation. It's very sad, but happens often.

The world has good and bad both.
Both kinds of people.

It is your decision and choice to make whether you want to be "Good".

Even if the world is the worst place full of worst people, it is your life and your decision to make how you want to live.
How you want to be "Good" and remain "Good".

Positive thinking about you and other matters really helps.
Negative thinking takes one towards the down side.

So, forget about the other one being bad.
You decide and choose to be "Good".

And then ... make it happen.
