This isn't new with the WWE. They have using racial/ethnic
stereotypes for years. Remember the Gulf War in 1991? The
WWF, as it was known as the time, used General Adnan,
Colonel Mustapha (formerly known as The Iron Sheik), and
Sgt. Slaughter to exploit that. They exploited 9-11 to their
advantage with the so-called Arab wrestler and his flunky.
They exploited the Canada-US Donovan Bailey-Michael
Johnson rivalry, and they will exploit anything that is newsworthy.
They used the Team Canada angle to do this with the Harts,
Pillman, Smith and Neidhart. They exploited the Iran hostage
situation when the Iron Sheik won the WWF title from Backlund
in 1983. They exploited the Cold War with using Nikolai Volkoff.
If it is newsworthy, and it involves the USA versus (insert some
other country here), they will run with it. What group haven't
they made fun of, or mocked since they have been in business?
The reason they do it is for ratings/money. If people follow the
crap, they will buy the product, and so forth. The best way for them
to stop is to boycott the WWE until they go back to other storylines.
The WWE has been accused of sexism as well, but I guess I will
leave it to the females to answer this one.

WWE has always been racist...remember the The Nation of Domination parody with DX wearing black-face, The Nation of Domination itself was created after the Black Panthers

I agree with Hopester, you have rednecks, they just hired a hillbilly, the mexicans as well. So dont just limit it. Just entertaininment.
