As a American of Hispanic Genes, and married to a Hispanic Lady, I am a loving and caring person. She is the boss! Together we raised 3 children. She is still the boss. If I made a mistake, it was to give her a monthly allowance and I pay all the bills. I should have averaged all the bills and give her that amount. This way she will be more conscientious about our budget and cost of utilities.
The culture and education in which a man is raised has a lot to do with his behavior.

I wouldn't use the word dominant. It might be more of the upbringing, men are brought up to various degree that they are the man of the house and women and kids are to listen to him. I would use the word conservative. There are men out there from other culture who do not think it is their place to cook, clean and look after the kids. Therefore they have more right to tell the wife and children what to do. Some caucasian men are very conservative too.

It really depend on the upbringing.

Some Mexicans do that. Some hispanic men are dominant, but I truly believe there are just as many white guys like that, too.

The only generalization I feel comfortable making about the differences between white guys and hispanic guys is that hispanic men are generally better dancers than white men.

Well locally a good indicator is calling the local police department for statistics on domestic violence. Ask for an ethnic breakdown by percentage... compare it to the percentage breeakdown in your population... if the percentage of violence is higher than the percentage of mexicans living in your area...then I would say it's a higher risk... but culturally things differ all around the world...
And yet we judge by our standards....

Men in most 3rd world countried are not so much violent but do have a dominance and it's respected as the norm....

And yes in some cultures wives are disciplined... for example in some middle east cultures... a woman can be stoned to death for just ridiculing her husband.

no 2 white men are alike, no 2 black men are alike, no 2 Hispanic men are alike, it's not normal for any man 2 discipline his wife. A woman has her own disciplinary actions and if she doesn't he should know before marriage!

Hispanic's culture vary from country to country
Mexican's men are well know to be dominant (of course not all of them) but in other countries like Argentina , Colombia, Venezuela and some others it could be different.

well, i'm Hispanic, matter of fact, im from Veneuela and i am not dominant or controlling, not all hispanics are dominant. From what i can tell from friends and ppl that i have met, most mexican males are very dominant, it makes them feel and look manly towards their peers. basically, they follow a pattern set by their own parent. monkey see, monkey do. Also Peruvians, Hondurians act very Macho-like.

Maybe so, I really don't know but we live in America. No matter what nationality, if you live here, spouses do not discipline spouses. We as adults discipline our children, as adults we respect each other. No more (rarely) do you hear a man referring to his woman as "my old lady" and visa verse.
