Look at what the Republicans do, they loot. Anywhere you look, they loot. The senior citizen medicare benefit for ONE example, with the law written so that Medicare cannot use its enormous buying power to bargain for lower prices--cost to us, the taxpayers, an extra $500 Billion, going to Republican campaign contributors in the drug industry. There are so many other examples. That is why they are in power, to loot and steal, and that is why they lie, that is why they come up with stupid diversionary "issues" like gay marriage for only one example, to distract people from paying attention to where their money is being stolen, pretending to be all high and mighty morally superior while murdering over 100,000 innocent Iraqis and about 3,000 American military out of sheer blind greed.

Because they can never admit that they are wrong. Just like Bush can not admit that he had NO absolute intel of WMD in Iraq.

The only thing in Iraq is the huge oil reserves. That's what he wants, and that's all he cares about.

Holding true to what you say, should the colonist have listened to the dissenters, how about the north letting the south break away, even better, should we have let the Germans and Japanese take over the world. My point is war is necessary. I do not like war, nobody does, but standing down is not the answer against those who wish to destroy America

All they care about is making money for corporations. So in their eyes, the Iraq war is a huge success.

Are you suggesting that Islamists were our allies before we started fighting back? That their Imams were telling them the US was an okay place and they should like us?

Please, get a grip. Fighting back has simply revealed more of our enemies so we can exterminate them.

And, Jay d, we have found over 500 of the chemical weapon artillery shells that Saddam supposedly did not have. You need to catch up on your information, dude.

They don't like to admit they've lied to their people just like Bush can't admit either. They think that admitting what they've done wrong is a weak trait when in fact is a sign of strength and dignity.

These a*sholes are going to hate us no matter what we do. They hit us when Wild Bill was in the White House and if another Dem gets in they'll still hate us and come after us anyway. It's what they do. They are radicals and want to kill us off. We'll just have to kill more of 'em, that's all.

It would be an unnatural act for a Republican to stop lying. When you are a dittohead, and someone pulls the ringcord on your back, you have to chatter the party line you are programmed with.

They know most of us aren't buying their lies but they don't know how to get out of this mess they're in. This is what happened in Vietnam. They finally realized it was not a "winable" war but it was too late.

If they had just waited a little longer we may have been able to go about this a whole lot differently.....and kept our dignity.

well yea. duh. war always makes people pissed. its a simple fact. you will always do something that someone else doesn't agree with. republicans are sometimes stuck in their own world un willing to accept fact. but so are democrats. if you ask me both of the parties are corrupt. we need something else. something new. liberal yet we have the secure. something else in short.
