Tomorrow is 80's day at school. So far, this is what I've got:
lace fingerless gloves
a big black t shirt with the neck cut out(tomorrow I'll add an 80's band stencil)
possibly a snakeskin mini, what do you think? I've also got a black miniskirt and possible black leggings.

Crimp your hair, side ponytail, lots of bangle bracelets, legwarmers, different color socks, or two different color converse shoes, bright makeup, lots and lots of hairspray, big chunky jewelry, lots of neon, rosary necklaces, knot the bottom of the shirt,

Shirts tied into knots on the side
Tube tops, t shirts with coloured collars and sleeves, half shirts midriff bearing
JEANS & SKIRTS
Stripped and patterned blue jeans
Mini skirts in bright colours
leggins ....NOT TOO SURE ABOUT THE SNAKESKIN THOUGHT THAT WAS EARLIER.
SOCKS SOCKS AND MORE SOCKS
multipule pairs of bright socks.. .or ..white knee socks with stripes arround the top
SHOES
sneakers.. plain or checkered lace up or velcro or tennis shoes
or like converse high tops in bright colour
ACCSESSORIES
Big earings / Chain belts or Ribbon for belts/Head Bandanna,s or Headbands/ Friendship pins and braclets/Rock band button pins
HAIR
Crimped /Poney tail on the side/Teased/ really bad hair cuts (but you wouldnt want to go that far..lol
and big black hats!...

leggings/tights were more popular than the mini, don't forget leg warmers!!
Big bangs, hair in a pony tail to the side, bobby socks with the pom pom, bk knight or la gear shoes would be perfect but any runner will fit the look
A big T shirt with a tank underneath showing when you cut the big neckline, bright colours! WHAM! would be a good band logo for sure!
Big hoop earrings too and have fun

everything sounds good but i don't know about the snakeskin mini. here are some suggestions:
- horizontal striped shirt, blouse or leggings, a combination of black & white or pink & black
- ribbon for your hair. you can style you hair in a pony tail or use it like a head band or bandana
- big cross pendant like a la madonna for your fancy necklace
- school skort (plaids)
- slim fit pants
- flat/ ballet shoes
- lace stockings

Sounds perfect. Add some L.A. Gear for shoes with neon bright laces, huge bangle bracelet earrings, and thick hoop earrings (they dont have to be skanky big, just thick, if you know what I mean). Think neon and black. Those were the big colors. Whitewash jeans too, if you decide not to wear the skirt. Have fun!

black leggings would be a perfect 80s look with your outfit. Give yourself BIG bangs rolled up too with lots of hairspray (aquanet, preferably to be "authentic"). AKA "Mall Hair".
I find it hilarious the 80s look is back in style. The leggings under the mini, particularly. i just hope the "mall hair" will never return to it's old glory.

I would go for a black mini, neon pink leggings, the lace/fingerless gloves,ankle boots, lots of cross necklaces & black jelly braclets ( think Madonna,when she first came out)!

Tie a knot in the edge of your shirt.
Wear some leggings and then add three layers of scrunchie socks (that is if you can find them)
Also, put your hair in a side-ponytail and put a lace ribbon around it.
