When I hit Ctrl-Alt-Del, instead of getting Task Manager, a window opens that only contains two options - Disconnect or Log Off. I cannot close that window without choosing one of those options, and the window will not minimize. How can I get my Task Manager back? (I have XP.) Thanks...

It is odd that control alt and delete will not pull up the task manager. But yes if you right click on the task bar (blue bar at bottom of screen) you should see task manager as an option. I wonder though if when you click on it you wont get the same as when you pres Alt cntl and del? Good luck

Ctrl + shift + escape will pull up the task manager.

click on all files & folders
tyep in the search box
taskmsg
then hit search
then your see a green
computer ,icon
taskmgr
right click on that click on copy
then right click on the desktop
paste
then your have the
task Manager
on the desktop
take care

WOW, I don't know but I use it all of the time. I just found out about it from Yahoo answers about a week ago. I love you but now you have me worried about that happening to me. Hope someone lets us know.

ur computer administrator has locked that option out for you. you should tell them not to do that. peace.
