i just traded in my escape for a mercury mariner, i love it.
my husband has an expdition so i really didn't need anything
big either. i have 2 kids 10 and 7, so this is just perfect for the
4 of us, when we need more room, we take the bigger suv.
my insurance did go up over $100. cause mercury is considered
more luxuary than a ford.

i own a repair shop,,and he actually made a good choice in the mariner, there really good vehicles,,and have everything you could want right from the factory too, i have a few customers who have them, and they seem to like them really well,,the only problem i have seen with them ,is the right side tail light bulb blows the first month you own one,,its happened in a few already, after you replace it,,it doesn't blow again,,its a weird thing but i have seen 2 of them do this,,other than that there great i don't think i could recommend anything better right now,,other than the new Volvo,,its really good,,but way over priced,,good luck,i hope this help,s.

Its a matter of choice, i repair cars for a living, I'm a shop
owner, those cars break all the time, good for me, but bad
for the owner.
