Are Seattleites really that lazy and impatient that they have to have a Starbucks shop for every household?

Whoa! Dont get me started. I totaly understand where youre comming from. I managed 5 Starbucks in a matter of 9 years in Las Vegas. I watched as the company slooooooowy took over the market (coffee) in the Vegas area and most of the world. The worst thing wasnt ever the company itself, it was dealing with highly anal coorporate wannabees trying to impress and make the quick 'buck' in glitsy Las Vegas. They would wobble in EVERY freakin' morning, then around 11am, then aroung 3pm, then again at 6pm, always wearing there big 'i'm better than you' shades, fake one sided cheak grin and occasional sarcastic (vomit) words of 'there own' wisdom' that does you no good.

Despite all the crap and assholes I had to endure and make 'happy' every single day cause they were uncapable of self pleasures, I still hung on for almost 10 years and collected my FREE stock the company vested fully for me with no money outta my pocket. I collected, I cashed and I spent.

As for your question......hell no. It's almost as bad as the wasted space Americans (that's us), use on golf coarses aroound the country. It's all a shithole. LOL Seriously, I believe Starbucks and all the rest need to simmer down out of the fast life and remind people of the simple pleasures from home. The way it has always been (before 1992 ofcaorse,........even though Starbucks was discovered, bought and brought to life in the 1970's). So, yeah, I would say...IT ISNT REALLY THAT IMPORTANT. Get rid of them. CHEERS! :)

Well, i usualy get coffee on my way to work, so i dont have time to go through all the traffic just to turn around and get one from the starbucks in the opposite direction.

I wish there were more Starbucks where I live. There is only 1 that is close to me and it's always jam packed, you can't even get in the parking lot.

I live in Wisconsin, it's getting that way here too. I hate it. I don't even like Starbucks coffee. Coffee is a new fad. It's stupid, and so is Starbucks.

Yes. Chicago is packed full of them too, and I find it really useful if you're running to a train and dont have to wander around looking for a good venti soy latte.

Yep - they make more money that way. Same reason there's a McD's on every corner.

They are available any time someone needs a fix.
