They became the thirteen original states of the US:
New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia.
Vermont was part of New York and Maine was part of Massachusetts.
Florida was a colony of Spain.

Uh, the 13 colonies eventually became the US and then continued to expand into the 50 states and whatever extras we have like Puerto Rico (what the heck is that, a commonwealth?)
