Some bowlers wont like to ball to Rahul Dravid as he makes mistakes very rarely and doesnt give the ballers much of a chance. He knows how to cover his weak points. And Adam Gilchrist can kill a person with his BIG hits.

While bowlers find it very difficult to get the wicket of Rahul Dravid as he has got solid technique and defence, Adam Gilchrist demoralise the Bowlers by playing attacking and blistering shots.

first of all...the suppostion is not entirely logical....it must be that...some bowlers dont like to bowl to these 2 and y?....coz not ALL bowlers are scared of them....well for rahul...thre are soo very obvious reasons that bowlers generally dont find amusement at bowling to him....specially in test matches...just coz he is techincally soo much sound....that he will offer u less weak points or none at all when he is at his best....one has 2 produce a real stunner of a delivery 2 get rid of the great man...but in the ODIs i feel its not a big problem rather at times some captains might like him on the batting crease if its a high scoring game..as rahul takes his time 2 get in...although....shaun pollock, wasim n saqlain are three bowlers i remember who have bowled brilliantly against him ands have the uppr hand.........(kallis is the only man currently who matches rahul's technique)

while for gilchrist..i dont think good bowlers are ever afriad of him...gilly is an exceptionally good batsman...but nothing close 2 rahul...he is a match winner though and can rip any bowling apart....but h does have flaws in his batting specially against spinners and left arm pacers...i dont agree that bowlers are afraid bowling to him..there are more deadly players than him these days....and u ask gilly he will tell u ...he was never able 2 play wasim...infact he never survived against wasim except one innings at perth....he also struggles against vaas ansd harbhajan

GILLY..
A LEFT HANDER..ALWAYS A MENACE TO BOWLERS.
AND HE CAN HIT CLEAN SHOTS AND CLEAR BOUNDARIES..

RAHUL..
A NUDGER..NEVER ATTACKING A BOWLER..
SO THE FAULTING CHANCES ARE TOO LOW.
DEFENDS ALMOST ALL GOOD LENGTH AND LINE BALLS TOO.

BOTH OF THE BATSMEN HAVE TOTALLY CONTRAST IN BATTING STYLE..
BUT,
YET A THORN IN BOWLERS' FLESH.
