It was God through Jesus Christ created the universe and the earth. God is real. Scientists believe that the universe is 4.4 billion years old, that's crap and fake, they believe we (humans) were animals or apes long ago, how disgusting they are! The bible says that the universe is around 6,000 thousand years old, and it's calculated correctly. And most of the dinosaurs, (scientists think they died out millions of years ago by a meteor) died out by the Noah's flood, some survived because there were 2 dinosaurs in the ark, they had children after the flood, but they didn't like the earth after the flood, the climate changed a lot and they died out. Dinosaurs are mentioned in the book of Job 40:15.

Is God real? If anyone can answer that question then religion will be pointless. There are two ways of thinking about things in this world, things that you know beyond all shadow of a doubt and can prove scientifically are things that form from Reason; things that you have to have to take someones word for are Faith. Religion is a Faith, if anyone could sit you down and categorically prove that God existed then there would be no question in anyone's mind, and Religion would no longer be a faith, but a fact, which would condemn it to the world of science and history. Either you believe Jesus rose from the grave or you don't, no-one is ever going to be able to prove that it did or did not happen.

And as for John B's answer. He is obviously so narrow minded that he probably still thinks the world is flat. There is no question that all life on this planet evolved from the primordial soup. We didn't just evolve from monkeys, we evolved from monkeys, that evolved from fish that evolved from ameba's that once upon a time evolved from a mixture of random chemicals that bathed in the radiation of the Sun. The question for you here John is, which is more impressive? A God who creates a world set in stone that does not adapt, or a God that creates a world with the capacity to evolve, change and adapt, to continually better itself and perfect the animal form?

We might start by answering another question. Are we real? We know that we are, but prove it without using the reasoning that is obviously apparent. One of the biggest problems with proving this is that there is no real answer to how it is possible that we exist in the first place. Chance is not a "thing." We cannot say that we exist because of chance. Nothing comes from nothing. It is impossible for something or anything to exist, ever; however, we all exist. Prove that we exist first before asking the bigger question, Does God exist.

Yes, I am a scientist and an engineer with degrees in both Astronomy and Physics. And I believe God is real.
As some one else pointed out, there is no proof of God's existence. I believe that is by design. God does not want you to be forced to believe in Him, He wants you to believe in Him on faith. If there were proof, then there could be no faith. To have faith is to trust implicitly.
Just because I believe in God and the gift of His Son, does not mean that I turn my back on science. The more I learn about the universe and how it works, the more I see the truth of Psalm 19:1. "The heavens proclaim the glory of God, and the universe showeth his handiworks." I absolutely believe in God. I marvel at the ultimate wisdom and omniscience that created the universe with a set of rules and parameters that He could predict and know every quantum state of every quark throughout eternity. That is my God. And part of my adventure through life is to try to understand those rules that He created at the dawn of time.
The lack of proof that something exists, does not prove that something does not exist.

I can just tell u 1 thing, not so long ago they have discovered some kind of living organizms, in deep deep sea which they never thought of before, and I reckon reading 'Qu'ran' (the muslims saint book) which detailed something similar, Quran was all GOD's words transmitted to Muhammed .Now how is it possible they knew before 1500 years ago about those living things deep in the sea when ppl still thought earth was flat!!!
I mean come on, it is so OBVIOUS , that GOD exists. Now if u believe in GOD, or how u think GOD is like or what does he represent, that is something else!

God is the end result of a failed search for truth by a very shallow mind, provided that any search was made at all instead of swallowing the pile of delusional bilge that was spoon fed to you as a child. To find god, you must put on your god helmet. To do this, just stretch your sphincter muscle over your ears.

That depends on what you mean by "God" and "real", since there are no absolute definitions of either word.

You probably meant to ask "Does God exist?"; but in that case I would answer

"That depends on what you mean by 'God' and 'existence', since there are no absolute definitions of either word."

You seem to believe that humans are clever enough to have invented a language which can describe such abstract concepts.

We aren't, and we haven't.

Personally, I don't like the thought of some man sitting up above watching everything we do, listening to our thoughts, ect. I can only speak for myself, but I like a little privacy in my life. Hey, I even get freaked out by the posters in my cousin's bedroom when I visit him. Those eyes are so... creepy... The thought of someone constantly watching me makes me think of a stalker. Go away, stalker God, go away! Maybe he'll leave me alone if I play dead...

Unless there is definitive proof provided by god himself to everyone alive instantaneously without any way to dispute it, there is no way to say if god is real or not.

If you read the bible just once or even so much as parts of it, I believe you will find the answer to your question.

If you don't have access to a bible ask yourself this. "Do you think all things in this world are a result of chance?" If you look closely all the things that are messed up trace back to man's intervention.
