LA is okay, West Hollywood is usually the place for gay clubs and bars and all that.

I live near Los Angeles. It is pretty gay friendly, just depends on where you are. West Hollywood is the place for gay people. Lots of places to hang out and things to do. Long Beach, Ca is also gay friendly and has a large gay population. San Diego also has a large gay population.

Not really. But if you go anyway just make sure to stay out of places like Compton. They're definitely not gay friendly. I'd say San Francisco is the gay capital of the world so probably the most gay friendly place in California.
BTW I'm not gay so it would be better to get a gay guy to verify what I just said.

Los angeles is not gay friendly. i know so. I say san francisco, that like the gay city there i went there and they are very friendly there.

LA as a whole isn't very friendly to anyone, regardless of sexual orientation. There are areas (W. Hollywood springs to mind) that are very friendly. Palm Springs is nice if you can take the heat, and I've heard good things about San Diego, too.

LA is just a difficult place to create community in general
regardless of if you are gay. From what I've heard, LA is
however, a bit more toward the monogamous freak buddy
at best scene instead of a real boyfriend and relationships
which even NYC has a lot of.

west los angeles is gay friendly, santa monica street all gay bars , clubs resturants, book stores, gyms ect. also try long beach, ca. gay friendly, gay centers look the the gay and lesbian center near u lol that will help u more good luck

You need to go to a small town. I know that this town is full of gay people and its population is 6,000. People here leave them alone too. But San Francisco is the gay capital for California.
