Me and my boyfriend were perfect last year. My mom says i have matured and he hasnt... I'm not sure if i feel the same way about him as i used to. Do you think i should stay or leave. We have an awsome relationship. I need advice before i do anything stupid and my mom isn't helping me much she says "Do what you think is right" and i'm not sure what to do. HELP!!!!

We get along great. We dont talk alot or see each other as much. There are always rumors that he is cheating on me all the time he acts the same but im sorta not feeling him anymore

If the relationship is "awesome", why do you have to ask that question? If you don't feel the same way about him, maybe you need time to meet other people and see if there's someone else out there that's more mature and better for you. And while your parents are usually a good judge of character, don't depend on them when making your decision. Because they don't always know everything that's going on. And you don't want to blame them for anything that goes wrong or any regrets you might have.

I guess it depends on your age. Since your topic is under adolescent I am guessing you are in high school. My view was, when I was in HS and still is that in HS you are not looking for a life partner. This being the case, I think you should move on. It is surely possible that you have matured and he hasn't - and since girls mature faster than boys you probaby started out more mature than he.
I am sure he is a nice guy (or you wouldn't have dated him), but this time of your life is about learning. Learning what you like, what you don't like, what makes a good boyfriend, a bad one, a better one, etc. So that when you are older, ready to "settle down" you have some idea what you want -- and more importantly what you don't want.

Boys/Men mature so much slower than us women. Im assuming you are young, so Im going to tell you, you dont need to be hooked on a immature little boy. You guys might get along great, but you should enjoy your childhood and have fun with your friends. Stop worrying about a boy who isny at your level. Believe me I was stuck with someone like that and I had to work everyday to make it work and its soo not worth it. I left him and now Im so happy with a new guy and our daughter and yah we still have to work things out once in a while but its worth it because we are on the same level but it took a while, weve been together 8 years. And we are so happy. Good Luck hun...but seriously your mom know her stuff. Listen to her, do what feels right in your heart. :)

This happens all the time because the girl usually matures quicker than the boy, sorry guys but it's true. Some men/boys are stuck at the same maturity level for years! You should move on and explore your possibilities. Let him down easy, though, it's not his fault.

It sounds to me your still in this relationship ONLY because you feel you have to. Don't wait around for a guy to catch up they never really do their on there own agenda. You need to focus on what YOU need and feel . If you have an awesome relationship you should sit down and have a chat maybe you can remain friends

Without knowing more details, it is difficult to provide a wise answer. If your mother indicates that he is lacking maturity, then I would end the relationship. Mothers have a sixth sense about these things.
