If the Diebold and Triad and other electronic voting machines are still used down south and in certain states. ones whioch Princeton University just admiited they helped develop the quick change of cote change of programs whoich the repulbiclans instaelled to alter the vote, congress will remain as it is. If these mancies are outlawed and are tossed out by courts by the elections, and the Republican party stands to lose control of the house and senate, Bush and Co. will have to do something drastic not to allow elections: They could easily be charged with high treason and other high crimes, becuiase their actions over the past 6 years have been unconstitutional, to say the least...according to experts in constitutional law... punishable by death at the fireing squad. There, it is highly believed that they would create ( based on a recent Karl Rove speech and Gary Hart's recent in-print column) a national emergency will be declared, and then, Marshall law would be imposed, canceling all elections... rather than risk jail times for themselves.

I think this will be closer than predicted just a few weeks ago. The Republican base has been fired up by the comments of Hugo Chavez as well as the temper tantrum of Boy Clinton on FOX. Other factors, such as gas coming down will come into play.
