They pretend about everything! Why are'nt there more honest people on the internet? I'm not saying everyone is a loser that's online, I'm just saying there seems to be more compulsive liars online than in the general population. Or are there alot of liars in real life? I don't know any....

Because it's cheap entertainment and people can interact albeit, surreptitiously. It's like a bad movie, with no script and bad actors trying to advance themselves using smoke and mirrors - and possessing NO real talent! However, you and I are the exceptions! We both have talent!
