It is worse than being suspended. It is permanent until you do whatever they request you to do. In some cases you may NEVER get it back.

It might be possible to apply for a license in another state, but 40 plus states are members of the Drivers License Compact (DLC) which requires members to share driving record information.

What was written in your notice of cancellation? People usually know why their license is taken away. What did DMV telll you?

No canceled is permanent. You must do whatever it is they want to get it reinstated. Often this happens when you obtain a license in another state.

have you moved to another state and not told them? or are you being cancelled for medical reasons? could be a number of factors...could cancel if you are a minor, 18 or younger and quit school ( in some states)
