ABSOLUTELY
I'm really sorry you are more concerned about the pain of labor than the prospect of bringing a new life into this world that you will be responsible for loving, caring, providing for and leading the way through life.
Being a mother is the most wonderful thing I have ever or will ever experience and I would go through 10 more labors, if I had to, just to have the privilege of being a mother.

the pain is so worth it! it hurts, don't get me wrong, it hurts a lot. but after you see your little baby all that doesn't matter anymore. I have two children. 2 1/2 years apart. with my first daughter I had pain management but with my second daughter I didn't and her labor was 20 hours long. The pain means nothing after it's all over. I am actually looking to get pregnant again. My husband and I want to have another. After you hold your baby and watch them grow, the pain is a distant memory! besides what is a few hours to a day of pain compared to a life time of joy? I would go through the hours and hours of labor two times over if I had to, to have my girls. They are such a joy. My husband and I became parents for the first time at 18. Then for the second time at 21. It does change life but it's worth it. Being a mother is the highlight of my life!

Oh Lord yes! The minute you look in that beautiful babies eyes, you will suddenly forget about the intense pain. That baby will simply make it all go away. Get an epidural so it doesnt hurt. And congrats on your new arrival.

I think it will. I speak as a person your age with the same desire to be a parent soon (well, before 24 anyway). I'm more worried about being able to afford to send my kids to top schools the way my parents did for my sis and I than I am with the pain though.

Do you've an important different? trust, raising a toddler as a unmarried make sure is somewhat complicated. maximum women human beings get over the discomfort and proceed to have extra toddlers. The discomfort of beginning is their least problem.

If you have to ask if it is worth it then you are not mature enough to have a baby. Yes it hurts, very badly but the pain is very very much worth it.

Yes, and God has given the women the gift of forgetting the pain. Or else we would never do it again. You can have a spinal to help. Good luck sweetie.

Of course it hurts! It's been described as trying to **** out a pumpkin...
Will it be worth it? Depends on why you are planning to have a baby. 18 is awfully young - it's going to be a hell of a dampner on your social life.
