What is your thoughts on this supject? I disagree with the big bang theory, and I have many reasons why it is incorrect. One of which is the fact that I believe in the living breathing God, the one who son died for you and me. I believe that God created all things and there is no other explanation for it other than God.

What is your thinking on this subject?

I 100% believe that God created the world.and i believe that science usually backs it up.i mean come on do u really think that all the mountains and the oceans were created by some big bang.Trust me i dont know about u but that takes alot more faith then believing God created the world.

Does your pet dog believe in God, or the big bang? Probably neither. We humans don't have the brain power to know the answer. In ancient days when things couldn't be explained they thought that a god was responsible. Today we know that a lot of this stuff has a scientific reason why it is so.
When an ant gets stepped on do the other ants think that a god wiped out their friend and/or relative?

What if I told you that there that I believe that there is a tree in Chile that gives wisdom and eternal life if I do backflips in front of it? And that it once died and came back to like so that we all could eat pancakes. Does that make it true??...not at all.

There has never been any proof of any type of god. But, there is countless pieces of information that prove that the big bang happened. If you want say that you think your god created the big bang, I can respect that. But to say that you disagree with the Big Bang Theory just because you believe in a invisible being is just ignorant. Scientists have developed the Big Bang Theory by tracking the trajectories of everything is space (galaxies, stars, planets, gases) and plotting their courses backwards in a computer.
They discovered that everything has one distinct point of origin.

They know that an incomprehensibly powerful explosion took place to cause all things to move outward as they do. They labeled that explosion the Big Bang.

Scientist can explain the events and circumstances of the Big Bang accurately to within microseconds after its occurrence. They cannot describe what caused the Big Bang or what existed before it.

When asked to describe the extreme power and force, or to name the energy that caused the Big Bang, they cannot. However, they agree that the closest anyone can get to naming or describing that force is "PURE LIGHT".

Wow!

Hello?

Pure Light?

The book of Genesis in the Bible describes God's actions when creating. His very first act of creation began with the words,
"Let there be light". A more accurate translation of the original text would be the command, "Light Be!". He called light into existence with His words.

"BANG!"

According to the bible, the earth was "without form and void". Without form? Can we then say it was without mass? It was void? Can we say it was "not" or "unmanifest"?

All things are energy and coded information. You are energy and information. The earth, stars, fish, your mamma, President Bush, parking meters... everything is energy and information.
Einstein’s Relativity states E=MC²,
or Energy = Mass x the Speed of Light squared.

The book of Hebrews states that "Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear".

?? things which are seen were not made of things which do appear" ??

Everything is energy. The name of that energy is "Light". It can also be called "Love". Love is energy.

The energy can also be called "God", because the bible says in 1st John, "God is love..." another place it says, "God is light...

If God is light and God is love then love is light and light is love. All are interchangeable.

When speaking of the Lord, the bible states, "In Him, we live and move and have our being". We are "in" God. We are part of Him.

Time is an illusion. The bible says that "with the Lord, a thousand years is as a day, and a day is as a thousand years"...
There is no difference. God is not limited by time. It does not exist to God. 87 billion years or 12 milliseconds are the same. Time is Maya or illusion. God laughs at time. If you were to die and go to heaven right now, you would not know the difference between one week and one year. Time does not exist there. That is called "eternity".
Einstein said, "Time and space are modes in which we think and not conditions in which we live".

I don't see what the big controversy is about God and the Big Bang. It does not take a rocket scientist to figure out that God caused the Big Bang on purpose. It was his chosen method of creation.

God is not in a "pissing contest" with His scientists. He invented science and scientists. It is our limited insight and understanding that causes all the confusion. God is simply humored by it all. He is like a gentle and loving Father watching His children learn, grow, and evolve. Sometimes He watches us make a lot of mistakes.

Well.. i believe in Big Bang. Because it is practically Spotted by human since 1980s over the formation of another universe when the far range telescope developed.

And who is GOD? and Who is Human? Well, lets put all the logic together and think..... HUMAN is the formation of cells and others animal is also a formation of cells, but all of them is having a different special characteristic. Human good in brain, monkey good in hands, fish good in tail and so on and forth.

In my phylosophy of understanding, HUMAN and ANIMAL in earth is just an experiment of life being that is still on the testing by the GOD. In another word, if we temporily says god is ALIEN, HUMAN and ANIMAL is the experiment of these ALIEN.... meaning to say, our life is just an experiment of the alien.

A few facts here.
-Alien or better term as GOD was spotted million, thousand or years ago by a china, egypt and so on.
-God is often travel in the spherical or cylindrical shape of base (if you refer the place where buddha is sitting on) .
- Reason why is spotted because we (human) is still a Baby of the experiment by those gods and need very much attention of treatment.
- Great scientist like newton, einstein or so on... could be a CATALYST that being delivered by GOD (alien) as a test to see how our human and animals act and react over the Catalyst they applied.
- Future.. i do believe other means of greater formula will be developed... and our life will change accordingly, and is all depending on how the GOD (Alien) Put the catalyst on us.
- Well.. last but not least, we are just the experiment. And End of the day or Great Explosion of the Earth that done by nature or Human is the end of the GOD (aliens) experiment to us.
- Perhaps, at this point of view, the GOD has already got the answer of the experiment, and yet this experiment will be concluded very soon, and this is what we call as end of the war.

When religious fanatics accept as fact the Big Bang Theory (and evolution, and the earth is 5+ billion years old and so on), then they might actually have enough credibility to be heard on other issues that aren't necessarily contradictory.

But as long as they ignore science, evidence and facts then it's quite hard to take them seriously about much of anything. People who ignore science just look plain silly...

The Big Thoery does not go against God. There is absolutely no reason that if God exists that the Big Bang could not have been his mechanism for creating the Universe. Even the Catholic Church accepts the Big Bang.

Its all a matter of faith. Faith in God and/or faith in science. Believe what you want and feel happy in your beliefs.
I believe in God but not in religion. I do not understand the science of the Big Bang theory but it sounds plausible.
By the way, notice I have not used the word "he" when talking about God. Who said God was male? But then that is another question.

I believe that were people to be left to themselves on a large island, they would recognize the works of God in creaton. As it is , because of our technological progress, people feel there is no need for God.

There is a reason why the "big bang" is an impossibility. It has to do with mass acceleration within our panet as well as our sun. Were a person to determine mass acceleration 0.716 miles from the very center of our planet, it would be found that the mass would be accelerating beyond the speed of light in one second. In our sun this distance is 400 miles from its center. Were the concept of the "big bang" valid, there should be a "black hole" formed within our sun and earth.
