my ipod is displaying the battery symbol, but it isnt moving and it seems to be stuck a little before the middle, i want to try and put it into disk mode but whenever i try insted of displaying the apple symbol it gives me the battery thing. what is wrong i cant find anything on apple.com about, and how can i fix it

Is this the same problem as your other question?

Hm well since you're saying that it's displaying the battery symbol, maybe all your iPod needs is a new battery. Go to your nearest apple store, they'll send it out for a new battery, and when it's replaced it'll work like new.

Sometimes it helps if you turn your iPod off completely and don't listen to it while it's charging. Also don't charge your iPod when there's already 2/3 battery left. It countereffects it.

Find the customer service number on the website, and call them. Tell them the problem, and they'll help you troubleshoot or have you send it in for diagnostics. Under "Contact Us" at the bottom of the page, they have links for Technical Support.
